Big Sisters Score Big at Bowl for Kids' Sake Fundraiser

Design and Development, Inc. staff members offered their
support to Big Brothers Big Sisters, by participating in
Bowl for Kids' Sake, the organization's signature fundraising
event.

PA - April 3, 2006 - Davison Design and Development
Inc. employees recently took part in Bowl for Kids' Sake,
Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest national fundraising campaign.
Founded in 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters is America's oldest
and largest youth mentoring organization. For over 20 years,
people have been raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters
at annual Bowl for Kids' Sake events in bowling lanes across
the country, and Davison Design and Development, Inc. was
happy to lend a hand. The initial response to participate
was so overwhelming from Davison Design and Development,
Inc. staff members, that the company decided to enter four
bowling teams comprised of six people each (24 total) to
compete in the event. Prior to bowling, each team member
was charged with asking his/her colleagues, family, friends,
and neighbors to be sponsors by pledging donations. At Davison
Design and Development, Inc., the four teams were challenged
to compete for which team could raise the most money, with
the winning team being treated to a free lunch on the company
at a local restaurant. In total, all four Davison teams
raised $2598. On April 2, everyone from the community who
participated in this event met at FunFest in Harmar, Pennsylvania
to personally deliver their donations and for a day of bowling
and fun.
Davison
Design and Development, Inc. was also recently a sponsor
in the Sixth Annual Three Rivers Golf Classic, which raised
over one million dollars to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Greater Pittsburgh, and is proud to offer its continued
support for such a worthy cause.
